Ever since the release of the new Twin Peaks Gold Box I have been extremely excited about them and looking for the postcards. It reminds of the baseball card days of trying to search for the special limited edition cards. Except, here, each boxed set is like a pack of cards, hoping to get one of the wild gold cards.

Well these cards have been extremely hot on eBay selling anywhere from 1-5 dollars for a single card. Some of the sellers are persuasive in their salemanship claiming some of the cards are more difficult to find than others. While this is true to some degree, I dont think the print run was changed for any single card. When you get decks of cards, they come in runs or close to it. So you will get about 5 from the 40's, another 5 from the teens and maybe 2 from the 20's. And if these sets are packaged and shipped regionally, it may be more difficult to get some numbers than others.

Thats just a general idea of how those are being sold. Many people are looking for specific cards to fulfill their sets. 

Now there are also parallel sets that are gold, otherwise called Gold Wild cards and these are bordered in a foil gold. There are only about 70 of these cards. I am not certain on the breakdown of each variant, but you can refer to the previous posting about the release of the set for more accurate information:

 Pretty crazy stuff! $229.26! So its no wonder some people are openeing these sets up like packs of baseball cards!
