AFI 100 Most Inspirational Movies
So, how many lists does AFI have to make in order to validate their own self worth? I feel like ever since they made their list of the greatest 100 American films ever made, they decided to break it down into even more subjective catergories. The latest is the 100 Most Inspirational Movies...ever!
The films are "chosen by experts of the motion picture community". I suppose it is not up to the viewer to determine what inspires, but rather the authorities at AFI. Any rate, here is a listing of the top 10, and then following, is a link to the entire list.
9) Miracle on 34th Street (1947)
6) E. T. The Extra-Terrestrial
5) Mr. Smith Goes to Washington
4) Rocky
