It has been some time since I created any type of list for out of print titles. I know some interesting ones have gone in the past without being mentioned, so I thought I might do a little catch up. I will not get to everyone of them, but maybe you missed one or two in that time. I will try to cover titles by company. The titles mostly are referenced through MMM as a base for discontinued titles, and other resources from then on. Some titles may change stock or status at anytime and without notice.

In the world NoShame Films, who are officially done as a company with their website no longer functioning, its a good idea to keep an eye on their films. Sure they have some films better than others, but their stuff is still hanging around an fairly easy to get. Boccaccio '70 and Ubalda, All Naked and Warm are the most recent titles to dry up from the distributor end and are slowly getting appreciative sales. Most of their other stuff is still available on Amazon and other retailers with no indication that stock is at its end.

The other independent companies like Blue Underground, Synapse, Cult Epics have been mentioned in my previous article about the whole "Ryko incident", so I wont repeat myself here. Otherwise, their current inventory has remained unchanged.

Image Entertainment has a recent list of titles that have been discontinued. I will not list them all here, but highlight the important ones. First, it seems alot of their Corinth line of DVDs are being discontinued. Corinth owns many of the old 40's and 50's sci-fi genre drive-in style films that are fun to watch, but maybe more fun with MST. In addition are some Something Weird titles, which, although SW and Image have disconinued their relationship, most of their titles are still available. You will also see more from the EuroShock line of DVDs being discontinued. I think there a few more still in print from that line. Most have left the building to other companies. In addition are some of their usually excellent documentaries, such as the two Eisenstein titles. Also a lot of classical music which are always short printed and hard to find once they go out of print. In particular, you might want to check out Philip Glass' Satyagarha. Lastly is the remaining titles from the Niko Mastorakis Collection.

So that is all for now. I will offer more titles during the week. Comments in our forum are welcome. Purchasing items through these links help support RareOOPDVDs.com.
